Notes:
We will be loading bags of items donated to the DAV (mostly clothing) from their storage unit to a semi-truck trailer (no truck is attached). A few members will be in the trailer while others are on the ground handing items up. SMs can monitor the weight of the items and a dolly will be available if needed. We will do a safety brief on correct lifting and ask members not to lift items that feel too heavy for them. The DAV will make a donation to us and take us out for pizza afterwards. It usually takes about 3 hours with 6-8 people. This work is outside. We will schedule warming breaks per the wind chill chart in the cadet programs regulations. Members are also advised to wear snow boots and snow pants and other gear as appropriate. This fundraiser was previously done: 20-Nov-21, 11-Oct-25, 29-Jun-24.
