New First Aid Card ProcessFor Instructors Who Teach Classes Inside CAP:For the issuing of new or renewal MNWG First Aid Card, when you attend a MNWG CAP sponsored First Aid Class, the instructor will take attendance and will need to record member name, CAPID number and email of address of each member. Following the class the instructor, who will have access to enter that data plus some additional data into the new system via an entry screen will do so, requesting the issue of a MNWG First Aid Card. When the MNWG Medical Officer receives the request/s by email, will be reviewed and either denied or approved. The member will then get an email to them ONLY advising card issue approved or if denied, reason. If approved the member then goes to the MNWG web site, Intranet, Emergency Services, First Aid Card Reports, selects their unit and alongside their name option to view/print the card. If a member needs to replace their MNWG First Aid Card at any time can be done by access the MNWG web site. For Those Who Get First Aid Instruction Outside of CAP:For those members that attend First Aid training outside of CAP, Red Cross for example, or have higher qualifications that would cover First Aid Training, you are asked to contact the MNWG Medical Officer to request issue of a MNWG First Aid Card based on their qualifications. Should those be acceptable to the MNWG Medical Officer, you will be issued a MNWG First Aid Card. You will then be able to print your card at MNWG web site, Intranet, Emergency Services, First Aid Card Reports, selects your unit and alongside your name option to view/print the card.
